FAQ

Questions

What do I need to start?

A web browser and an email address. There is nothing to install. A laptop is best to write procedures. A phone is fine at the bench.

A step says someone is on this step, but it is a shared step.

Refresh the page. After the refresh, anyone can press Pass on that step.

Something did not sync, or a teammate does not see my change.

Refresh the page first. Most sync problems stop after a refresh. If it does not stop, email support@novbay.com and tell us the procedure and the step.

Can I import my Excel procedures?

Yes. Upload the file, fix the steps in the preview, and publish. The file is read in your browser.

Can I change a procedure after I publish it?

Yes. Make a new revision. Runs that already started keep the version they started with.

Can I get a record of a run?

Yes. Each finished run shows who signed each step and when. You can save it as a PDF.

Do I need all three apps?

No. Start with one. The others use the same team account when you need them.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. See the pricing page for the limits.
